Information we need to collect from you
We obtain personal information from you when you complete our Registration Form, job seekers questionnaire and from your Curriculum Vitae. This basic information contains your name and contact details, such as postal address, e-mail address telephone numbers, company details, salary details and any benefits, job preferences, and preferred working. locations.
We also collect other information from you via the Job Seekers Questionnaire which we use with discretion to ensure that our marketing campaign for you is as effective as possible. Whilst you may chose to withhold certain information from us the more information we have from you – the better will be our chances of finding you a suitable position.
Accuracy of Data
We need to ensure that any information we hold on you is as accurate and up to date as possible. To do this your Curriculum Vitae should include a continuous employment history which is up-to-date. We recommend reviewing and updating your Curriculum Vitae every six months, and request that the information you provide is factually accurate and complete as possible.
Storing / processing of your personal information
Your personal data is stored on our database, and your details can be retrieved and reviewed as and when new job opportunities arise. Your personal details are used by us to submit applications to clients where we feel your attributes meet their requirements. This information is only sent out after we have consulted you first.
Data security
We use industry standard firewall technology to protect your personal data held electronically on our databases. Access to this data is via password. Any hard copies of Curriculum Vitae or other documentation containing personal information are securely stored by us and are shredded before disposal. You should be aware that there is a risk of insecure transactions when these are conducted over the internet.
Our Clients
We deal with a broad range of leading financial institutions.Clients can register with us via our website www.genesis-search.com or by e-mail, fax or telephone. It is not our policy to forward any information about job seekers to any client without discussing the relevant opportunity and client with the job seeker first. We always seek you permission to forward details to our Clients, unless you specify you are happy for us to do so.
Your Legal Data Protection Rights
You are entitled to request a copy of the information that is held on file or records about you. Should this be required please contact admin@genesis-search.com . You have a right to correct any inaccuracies in the information and would request that you advise us of any corrections that you might make.
A nominal fee (set by statute) is payable to us at the time of you requesting this information.
